“I’m not blind, you know. I can see you staring at me.”
 After a few minutes of ignoring him, Jack finally addressed the cute cardinal sitting across from him on the bus. The guy had been trying to pretend he was looking at his phone, but his eyes were not focusing anywhere near the screen. His body was small, but well-formed, nature blessing him with plump hips and round cheeks, his scarlet feathers covering for his blush. Much of his torso was covered up by a deep navy blue hoodie, and a few of his styled head feathers peaked out from underneath the crown of his black beanie. He’d looked so adorable, Jack didn’t want to break it to him that he already had a boyfriend.
 “Really? Heh, sorry about that, it’s just that you have such thicc thighs.” His admirer finally spoke. Jack was surprised at the way his voice sounded, a suave baritone with a midwestern tinge to it. The coyote couldn’t blame him for admiring his body. He was 26 now, and his once slim form from high school and college had gained a significant amount of padding, leaving him with a big, handsome beer belly and a nice set of drumsticks. However, while the cardinal saw a good fuck in Jack, Jack saw little more than a good chicken dinner in him. Lustful preys were always comically easy to lure to their doom. For him, it would be as easy as playing along. “Don’t be sorry. You have a name, cutie?” The red avian smiled in response, his head tilting slightly to the side. “Yeah. Olaf.”
 “Hmm, kind of a strange name. Is your family Swedish or something?”
 Olaf snickered. “Norwegian, actually.”
 Jack subconsciously rubbed his chubby stomach, thinking of how he was going to savor his prey once he got close enough. “For a fat guy, you’re actually really hot.” The cardinal teased, accidentally giving him more encouragement to eat him. “Man, you get straight to the point, don’t you?” The canine replied, his sharp and shiny teeth showing. “I would just love to have a subby bitch like you on my waist.” Jack laughed mentally. He always loved when he could tell prey they were going to be eaten to their faces and they wouldn’t understand it. “Actually, matter of fact… what if you come to my home sometime and I relish every fucking inch of you? I promise you, I’m not going to bite.”
 Olaf looked starstruck. “Really? I could go tonight. I would just love for you to completely wreck me, shatter me into a million shivering, moaning pieces.”
 “Woah woah, tonight? You’re very eager.”
 “I know. I have some boxes I need to finish unpacking at my new place, but I was gonna put that off. It’s boring as hell, anyways.”
 “As you wish, birdie. Why don’t you come sit a little closer to me while we wait?”
 The slutty avian stood himself up, his feathers shining under the bus’s interior lights. God, he was an idiot to obey such a request so quickly without any doubt. Practically the second he was within reach, Jack’s intense hunger overrode all of his other emotions, and he quickly made a grab for him. His food could barely get a squeak in as the fabric of his hoodie was seized and used as a handle to yank him forward. “Ahh, y-”
 GLRK!
 Olaf’s head and neck were very quickly stuffed directly into the dog’s smelly, slippery gullet. After a few swallows, his teeth scraping over the bird’s chest, Jack was pleased to be able to confirm that this was not what Olaf wanted from him at all. If it was, he wouldn’t be kicking and thrashing so much right now. Another thought popped into his head: he needed to finish the fuck up, he didn’t have the luxury of time in a public setting like this. He picked up the pace, stuffing him down with his hands and trying his hardest to keep his soles from hitting the metal interior of the bus and alerting the other passengers. After an awkward moment where he shoved the tips of his prey’s expensive sneaks in with the tips of his fingers, he swallowed painfully hard, dragging the entire birdie straight into his stomach, straining the fabric of his gray shirt. It had taken at least a minute, from beak to toes.
 He smacked his lips a couple times, eliminating Olaf’s sweet, meaty taste, and sucked a few red feathers into his mouth with his tongue while his eyes darted around. No one saw that, right? Surely, no one saw that. Jack observed the remaining anthros on board, about five or six, not counting himself and the person driving. They hadn’t reacted in any way. He assumed they might be staring at him, or screaming frantically, or dialing police to come make him vomit up the avian, but they just didn’t seem to care. Maybe they didn’t notice. Or maybe they were pretending not to, to save their own skin. A pretty absurdly lucky circumstance, but not one that he could count on occurring twice. Next time, he’d have to repress his stomach’s urges long enough to find somewhere more private to eat.
 Jack relaxed himself, huffing and stroking his gut and its confused contents with his paw. The difficult part was over. Soon, the bus would arrive at his stop, he would be in his apartment, and the sweet song of digestion would fill the air…

 “Damn, is that a birdie you got stuffed in there? You’re making me jealous of him~”
 “Don’t worry, I’m sure I’ll have room by the time you’re back”
 The next text the sand-colored canine got in response to the photo of his engorged stomach resting in his lap was some incomprehensible gibberish accompanied by a few eggplant and squirt emojis. Even through a text message, Jason was ridiculously cute when he was flustered. He was out of town on business right now, unfortunately, leaving Jack with no one to share his predatory bliss with. If Jason was around, he knew he’d want to clap the lithe blue jay’s cheeks, filling their bedroom with a combination of belching, moaning and gurgling while they ground Olaf to a fine paste between their bodies. He might even take him as his dessert as soon as they climaxed. Alas, the best he could do while alone in his living room was tease him about it with his phone.
 “Aggh, no please!! Let me-cough cough-go!!! I don’t want this!!” He could hear Olaf begging beneath all of that flesh, fat and fur. He was really wiggling up a storm, too, his hands and feet visible as they bulged out of his captor’s skin. Jack was understanding of his plight. The little guy was helpless and afraid, stuck deep inside of someone he barely knew. The canine had seen this in prey before. Often, they would work themselves into a huge panic, common sense evaporating from their headspace as they instead resorted to squirming, pleading, and screaming. It never seemed to cross their minds that there were other ways they could get out of his belly alive. Of course, Jack would never share these secrets. “Shut the hell up, you horny little chicken tender. I’m not letting you out.” He barked at his stomach, before he slapped one hand on top of it, and grabbed the TV remote with the other. He hoped there was something good on streaming he could watch to pass the time…
 The tubby coyote continued to rub and massage the unlucky cardinal while he settled in for a good slasher flick. Of course, it was less about actually watching the movie, and more about having some background noise while he taunted Olaf about his impending acidic doom and sent Jason updates on his digestive process. After an hour, the red bird had been reduced to choked, half-drowned bargaining as his feathers came loose and fell into the gurgling soup. Funnily enough, he kept offering Jack things that he already got by eating him. He offered his wallet, when Jack could just burp it up or shit it out, and he offered him sex (again), when he was getting infinitely more pleasure from his pathetic struggles. By the time the movie was over, Olaf’s spirit had been thoroughly broken.
 “I… I can’t believe this is how it ends. Turning into… d-dog pudge. I feel like I still have more to give…” he whimpered, his voice muffled by digestion and paunch. Jack was quick to answer. “Yeah, but maybe in your next life, you’ll keep your tasty ass away from guys who are obviously preds.” Something bubbled up in his mind just then. One of Olaf’s requests back when he was a person and not just a large slab of meat. His muzzle cracked into a sinful smirk. He rolled his fluffy body off of the couch and onto the floor, and took a strange kind of downward dog position to account for his bloated gut. Then, slowly, he lowered himself, letting his torso, and all of the crushing weight that came with it, come to the ground.
 “W-What is…? Ow! Ow, god! S-Stop!! Aaauuuggghhhh!!! You’re c-crushing meeaaaaaaaauuuggh-!!!!”
 CRUNCH!!
 Olaf’s pained screaming shifted into a hard, bloody wheeze as much of his body snapped under the intense pressure. He’d been completely wrecked, shattered into a million shivering, moaning pieces, just like he wanted. Soon, the predator got off of his stomach, sitting on the floor, enjoying the hopeless final whimpers and death throes of his catch, before everything went still, his belly becoming round and undefined. The cute cardinal who made a pass at him on the bus was now just a dissolving corpse. A perfect, ending, as far as Jack was concerned. With a mighty belch, he splattered undigested feathers all over the carpet. The saliva stains would be a pain to clean, but it was so, so worth it. Jack soon felt himself come down with a food coma, and made no attempt to resist, falling asleep right where he was on the floor. By morning light, he’d have a fresh new layer of fat…

In the cupboard of the apartment’s bathroom, between all of the cold medicine and the first-aid kit, there was a strange, beaker-shaped plastic bottle of a purple liquid called Reformation Elixir. It was essentially a necromancy potion, able to bring a digested prey back from the dead. It was actually rendered pretty mundane in a vorish world, and anyone could get it over-the-counter at a pharmacy. Jack was using it exclusively for his delicious little lovebird after particularly saucy nights, and there was no way he was sparing any for some preyboy cardinal he met last night.
 PFFFFRRRTTT!!!
 FLUSH!
 Jack flushed his first big load of dog shit down the toilet, and he felt another one pounding at his back door, hard. This apartment building didn’t grant its predatory residents the luxury of wide pipes, so he had to settle for flushing periodically so the toilet wouldn’t clog and his crime wouldn’t be revealed. “Come on, you little bitch, you gotta, nnggh, come out sometime…” he grunted, another large log of crap starting to slip out of his stretched sphincter. This last big portion of his dump slid out smoothly, plopping into the water of the bowl quietly. There was only one obstacle right at the end, something hard and round which clogged up his asshole. With a heave and a moan, his colon crunched it up, and the fragments fell right on top of the stinking pile.
 After he wiped, Jack got up to flush, and got a good last look at his meal. It, or rather he, was now little more than a thick, coiling log of shit, bleached red feathers and chalky bone fragments poking out of the brown matter. The cherry on top, however, were several large bits of bone lying on top of it, including an intact orange beak. These were bits of skull, having been crunched up as to more easily fit down the u-trap. “Nice knowing you, cutie.” The dog waved goodbye to his turd as he sent it down the pipes, his prey heading to the great beyond of city sewage.
 It wasn’t until a while later that Jack knew exactly who he ate. According to the news report, Olaf was an engineering student and a sophomore at Sequoia State University, the main campus of which was several blocks from his apartment. It was an entire week before the police declared him legally dead, although he couldn’t blame them for taking so long. After all, they had no reason to check the city’s sewers, or his hips. A few times, Jack thought about anonymously calling Olaf’s family or the police department and letting them know what had happened. He always decided against it, though. There was no good reason to risk exposing himself as a vore criminal, and he didn’t want to humiliate the poor bird in his death by revealing he had practically thrown himself down his throat.
 The only things he kept from Olaf were his navy blue hoodie and his black beanie, both of which had been hacked up late at night, and washed clean of slime and acid the following day. He gave them to Jason as soon as he got back, as a sort of secondary gift to compliment his new heft, and they happened to fit the blue jay almost perfectly. It quickly became one of their favorite outfits, Jason finding it to be cute and comfy, and Jack drooling at the sight of it. The lovebird was eaten by his loving boyfriend while dressed in that outfit at least 50 times, and pounded by him in it twice as many. And every single time it happened, a bit of Olaf’s aftertaste returned to the dog’s memory.
