It was a sunny day down under, and the pristine white sands and turquoise water of Bondi Beach were speckled with hundreds of anthros, soaking up the last few weeks of sun before the Australian winter hit. People of all shapes, sizes and species, were gathered all over the coastline, their towels and umbrellas dotting the beach. Many of these excursionists were true blue Australians enjoying their country’s natural bounty. Kangaroos competed with emus in beach volleyball, while koalas, cassowaries and dingoes laid out on their towels sunbathing, and crocodiles and platypi shredded the waves. However, just as many of the beachgoers were tourists from abroad. Unfortunately for anyone near him, Jace was one of them.
 Jace was an American and a total fratboy, someone whose brain was almost exclusively preoccupied with beer, food and sex. His white and gray seagull feathers were scruffy, and his face was rather handsome, his vibrant blue eyes almost glowing. His thighs were thick and his gut was tubby, padded by several pounds worth of junk food and lager. Jace was a trashy-ass bird, but he was a trashy-ass bird with wealthy, doting parents. Perhaps that influenced his ability to attend a top public ivy on a prestigious scientific scholarship. And the fact that he was able to enjoy incredible and expensive spring break trips every year.
 Over the course of his college education, the gull had learned he really enjoyed traveling, or doing his usual partying in an exotic new location, at the very least. He also liked to go “sightseeing”, that is to say he oogled at busty local women and tried to convince them to sleep with him, with varying success rates. Every year seemed better than the last, but this year’s destination topped them all. Somehow, he’d talked his family into paying almost all expenses on a vacation at the other end of the world in a city where the sun always shined, beer always flowed, and the beaches were incredible, or so he’d heard: Sydney, Australia. It’d been a load of fun so far. Jace had seen all of the local sights and gotten thrown out of most of the local bars and pubs in an almost nonstop weeklong drinking and eating binge. As the week began to wind down, he remembered what had drawn him to Sydney in the first place, and took his dumbass jock antics to Bondi. He’d tried hard to make the most of his day, renting a board and making a hilarious attempt to surf the azure waves. Tomorrow afternoon, he’d be boarding a plane to take him back to the states, and shortly afterwards he’d be finishing up his last semester of college.
 Right now, he was lying on a large white and black striped towel, surrounded by crushed beer cans, crumpled chip bags, and greasy fry trays, their contents long since smushed and melted into a thick, churning pulp pumping through the seagull’s insatiable digestive system. He was wearing very little, letting the hot mid-afternoon sun dry off his damp feather coat. On his head, he donned a black D-Backs baseball cap and a pair of sunglasses with tinted-blue shades. Wrapped around his waist was a bright blue pair of baggy swim trunks, tied tightly beneath his plump torso. To his immediate right, a stereo lay, blasting loud 90’s rap that could be heard clearly from several feet away, much to the annoyance of those around him. Jace was too busy to notice, though, as he was preoccupied with trying to get his TikTok livestream up and running. He couldn’t wait to update his 2.2k followers on how his vacation had been going.
 “Is this thing on? Ok, sweet. What’s up guys, it’s ya boy Jace here! Last day of my Spring Break in Australia, and where better to spend it than the beach, huh?”
 He spoke in his typical loud, cocky tone of voice, subconsciously ensuring everyone in earshot knew he was speaking. He quickly turned the phone camera to show the waves in front of him, then turned it back around, cracking open yet another beer as he continued rambling. “Did some surfing, got some sick footage of that I’ll probably post later, I don’t fucking know.” He took a hearty chug of alcohol, downing the entire can in seconds flat, then crushed it and chucked it off to the side, not hearing the thud it made or the small yelp of pain from the person he hit. “It’s been dope, it’s been great down here. The weather is beautiful, and the women… wow. They’re so fucking hot, guys. Like, someone call the fire department on these bitches! I met this one cassowary, I think, she had the fattest dumptruck and the biggest-“
 “Oi!!”
 The gull groaned as he heard someone yell out at him, interrupting his stream. He’d need a snack to get through this. He reached for a french fry, only to find that the paper tray next to him was completely cleared out, nothing but crumbs being felt by his hand. In fact, he was completely out of anything except booze. All around him was garbage from his snack stash, blowing about and interfering with the business of other beachgoers. He became refocused on the confrontation at hand when the crushed can he had just chucked was thrown back at him, hitting him square in his gurgling, feathery stomach. He sat up and turned to the source. “Okay, okay, what do ya… want?”
 Jace found it difficult to concentrate on his words when he saw who was bothering him. Towering above him was a mighty specimen of an avian, an emu who looked only a year or so older than him. He was wearing nothing but a very tight pair of swim trunks brandished with the Australian flag and a dark brown Akubra hat. The reason his pants seemed so ill-fitting was because… because they had so much to contain. He looked like he worked out at least three times a week, if not more. His legs and his wings were beefy and muscular, and his slender torso featured toned pecs and abs. The only parts of him that didn’t seem ridiculously jacked were his long neck and head, upon which rested a long black beak and furious brown eyes. The entire package was covered in a mottled coat of shaggy brown, gray and dark blonde feathers, except for his lower legs, which had light gray talons that cut off just above his knees, and his neck and head, which were mostly black with a white band around the chin. His entire body had a light sheen to it, and he smelled like tanning lotion. The seagull started to drool, his lack of speech leaving a window for the emu to vent his frustration.
 “What do I want!? You hit me in the chest with your bloody litter!! You’ve been at this all day, and I’m sick of it!! You’re throwing your rubbish everywhere, you’re being loud and unruly, you’re blasting your music so loud, the entire bloody beach can hear it!!! It’s doing my fucking head in!!! I’m just trying to have have a nice day off, enjoy some R&R, ‘coz I work so hard nearly every day of the week, and some fucking American is ruining it!! Do you have any shame!? Any consideration for the people around you?!?”
 The angry bird yelled in a thick, masculine Australian accent, but Jace had zoned out halfway through the rant and was instead staring at his body. So much meat, not a single ounce of fat on him… he was less of a snack, and more of a feast. The chubby jock suddenly decided he very much wanted to sample some authentic Aussie cuisine. He looked back at his phone screen. “Aight, just give me a moment…” he mumbled, setting the phone up on a small stand he had brought with him, directly facing the emu. “Ok guys, watch this.”
 The seagull got up, adjusting his cap and standing up to face the big bird. It was obvious even while he was on the ground that the Aussie was much larger, but now it had been very much confirmed. Emus as a species were naturally very tall, and this one looked to be about 6’2, quite a standard height for them. Jace, on the other hand, was a bit small. He’d managed to talk (read: bribe) his local DMV into putting 5’8 on his license, when in actuality he was about 5’6. For a better visual aid, he was at eye level with the emu’s chest, which heaved as it rose and fell, the man absolutely livid. “Are you streaming this, you bastard? What the fuck is wrong with-“
 The buff bird didn’t quite finish up that sentence, because within seconds, the gull’s wings had a firm, ironlike grip on the sides of his face, his expression changing from fury to annoyed confusion, before…
 OMFF!!
 Without really thinking about it, Jace stuffed the emu’s entire head into his mouth and swallowed hard, knocking the Akubra hat he was wearing to the sand below. The texture was soft and tender, and the taste was… special. Like chicken, but with strong earthy and spicy tones. He was a lot like what he expected an Australian to taste like. Well, except for the bitter hint of greasy tanning lotion in his feathers. Surprised by a lack of any real pushback from the surrounding people or his meal, and not seeing any reason he should stop, he swallowed again, slurping up the long black and white neck.
 It wasn’t until Jace had cleared the broad shoulders and meaty pecs that his prey realized what was going on. With his arms firmly pinned, the emu starting struggling like crazy, his body wriggling against the smaller bird’s torso, his feet kicking the sand around. Jace could hear his muffled voice down in his throat, angrily demanding he be let go. Instead, the fratboy swallowed a few more times in quick succession, loud and disgusting gulping noises being heard across the beach. He made sure to really savor his catch, his wormy pink tongue gliding over the feathers, slathering them with drool. It dug itself into every nook and cranny of the larger bird’s six-pack, absorbing any ounce of flavor present and tickling the emu greatly. Once he was at the Aussie’s trunks, Jace chewed and smacked on his ass with his yellow beak, covering it in saliva, and allowing his tongue to drag itself allllllll over the bulge his long, thick sausage made beneath them, before it too vanished down into his belly.
 Soon, with a ton of effort, he could lift the entire bird into the air, letting gravity push the rest of him down. With heaving, powerful glunks, the seagull shut his eyes tightly and felt as the toned thighs and calves of the huge Australian nuisance slid into him, as his abdominal muscles stretched and strained around it’s newfound lunch, his tongue flicking at the wiggly toes of his talons, until…
 GLLLNNKK!!!
 “Huff… huff… oh fuck… did I get that?”
 Jace opened his eyes. The emu was gone. Completely gone. In his mouth was the thick residual flavor of Australian poultry. In his gut was something spectacular. A huge, squirmy white bulge, nearly twice his size, serving as proof of his feat. It was shaped like a tightly curled, very muscly and very confused emu, the smaller seabird’s skin and feathers stretched around it, as taut as a drum. So many minuscule, perfect details could be made out, from the waistband of his swim trunks, to the rigid bumps and curves of his shoulders, even every line and crease of his tightly shut eyes. He was saying something muffled beyond any and all recognition, and he was trying to move around or get comfy, with little success.
 Jace’s belly groaned and grumbled, trying to figure out how to deal with so much meat, while he lifted himself up and was barely able to stumble back to his spot in the sand. The gull was quick to park his ass on the towel, spreading his legs and letting his stomach sag between them, putting a nice bit of pleasant pressure on his cock. He moved his phone a bit to give it a better view of his engorged belly, then resumed talking, smiling as he saw the comments and view count blow up. “Holy shit! I just ate a whole fucking emu!! This is incredible!!! I feel so full and bloated now. I don’t even know how I fit him in here, guys, I’m not kidding.”
 “M-Mmmfff!!! Lmmmouuff, ymm bftrff!!”
 “Oh sorry, what was that? I can’t hear ya over the sound of my big fat belly digesting you, loser!” The boastful bird gave his stomach a good smack, causing to slosh and wobble as it churned angrily. As the acids smearing the emu’s body began to kick in, his angry squawking gave way to fear-tinged pleas and hard, rough struggling, forming tons of interesting shapes in the seagull’s feathers and shaking the gut around. All the while, Jace continued to talk his lunch’s ears off as he digested, feeling very, very, very proud of his achievement.
 “This is so dope, guys, I just ate one of the largest birds out there! Serves him right for interrupting my fucking stream, am I right? Like, what a fucking loser this guy was, being eaten by a fucking so-called trash rat! He tasted really good, too. Kinda like a, uh… a chicken! Yeah, that’s just what this douche is. An oversized Australian chicken. Maybe I should come back to this city sometime, try sampl-”
 “Mmmnnggfff!!!”
 “Oh shut up, chicke - bbBWWUUUAAAARRRPP!!!”
 Jace’s stomach only became tighter as he belched out most of the excess air, cramming the Aussie inside into an extremely awkward fetal position. The seagull could feel the sunlight seeping into his skin, the heat helping to get his digestion going, and realized he’d probably get a nasty sunburn lying here. Jace lazily reached out with his wing and grabbed a tube of SPF 50 sunblock and squeezed a generous amount of the thick white fluid into his palm. Sighing heartily, he started to rub it into his belly feathers, making sure not to miss an inch. Being the little jock he was, he also made sure to give the emu’s bulges some extra rough squeezes and rubs in the process, whilst lovingly taunting him for the enjoyment of himself and his viewers.
 For the next hour, Jace admired his stomach, watching his prey fight for its life while he softly belched and hiccuped, guzzled beer, rambled to his TikTok viewers, and tried to hit on women that passed him by. After a bit, he started to feel pooped, and ended the stream, smirking as he saw that he had netted an additional 8k followers. Who knew so many people were interested in watching people eat other people? As he put his phone away, his eyes were drawn to the dark brown Akubra hat he’d knocked from the downed Australian. Smiling, he placed it on his stomach, on the cringing, rapidly softening bulge of the emu’s head. “Here’s ya hat back, tasty bitch.” He teased, causing the emu to awkwardly squirm and whimper. The seagull’s beak gaped in a huge yawn, exposing his pink, slimy maw to the world, before he crushed the can he was holding and chucked it away. “Damn, I’m tired.” Jace said as he removed his sunglasses. “Well, you sound like you’re having a nice swim in my ‘private pool’. Stay as long as ya want, just be gone before 2:00 tomorrow, I don’t want people staring at me on my flight home.” It wasn’t as if the emu even had a say in the matter, because Jace just leaned back and covered his eyes with his cap visor, and before either of them knew it…

The American avian groaned as he lifted the visor from his face, finding that everyone was gone and the sky had turned dark, a white full moon shining onto the ocean below. He checked his phone clock. 10:53. “Damn, that bird put me straight to sleep.” He sat himself up, and realized for the first time that maybe eating an extremely muscular, 6’2 emu would have some undesirable long term consequences. A thick mass of feathery blubber had accumulated on the seagull’s body, making his former shape look like the body of a Greek god. All of that toned muscle had ironically digested into thick, squishy fat that hung off of his belly, thighs, calves, ass, and newfound moobs. It was going to take forever to work off all of this weight.
 The fratboy slid his hands under his pudgy paunch and gave it a soft jiggle. “Ooh… I couldn’t keep you around forever, but ya look great on me for the time being.” He blathered to no one in particular. While he was distracted playing with his tummy, something slipped out the back door unexpectedly.
 PPFFFFFRRRRRTTT!!!!
 The gull’s face turned red, than green, as he sheepishly fanned away the wicked stench of gurgled Aussie wafting from his trunks. “Auuuggh… sounds like someone enjoyed their swim. At least no one was around to hear that.” Jace got to his feet, his webbed feet imprinting in the sand as they dodged the litter he’d left on the sand. Without a word, he awkwardly waddled to the ocean, adjusting to having to carry the weight of two birds on one body. As soon as he was there, he took to the surf like a sea lion, pleasantly surprised by how warm the water was, heated by the Oceanian sun. Huffing and puffing, he swam out into the bay, pushing himself further and further away from the shore, until he was sure he was far enough that he could do his business in peace. Pulling his trunks down to his ankles and letting himself bob up and down in the inky black waves, Jace began to strain as he pushed out the leftovers from his feast.
 Clouds of bubbles rose to the surface as the air that had gone all the way through his guts left in a series of underwater farts, accompanied by thick brown and white logs full of indigestible waste. Weighed down by large clumps of bone and wads of feathers, they weren’t buoyant in any sense of the word, and quickly sank to the seafloor, where they wouldn’t be bothered for a long time. At the very least for the poor Aussie, his remains would prove somewhat useful: bones like his skull and his pelvis would serve as wonderful homes for aquatic life, even if they didn’t know or care who had gifted them for their use.
 Log by log, the mushy, waterlogged shit was pumped out of Jace’s blubbery ass and dropped to the bottom of the ocean, never to be seen again, or at least not for a long, long time. After a few minutes, all of the shit was gone, but the jock still sounded one last muffled, submerged toot, and he felt something solid come out. Curious, he turned around in the water, and saw something float to the surface with the bubbles. After a moment, he was quickly able to identify what it was. It looked like the tight-fitting Australian-flag swim trunks he’d eaten along with his lunch, having survived perfectly intact through all 30 feet of his avian digestive system. The shit on it had been washed off by the churning water, but they were very faded, and there was an obvious brown tinge to them, a perfect visual metaphor for how Jace had treated the city of Sydney during his spring break. Feeling emptied out and satisfied, he just let them bob there. They was just garbage, after all.
 Emerging back onto shore soaking wet, Jace dried himself off with the towel, noticing it felt much more snug wrapped around his waist, then started packing up his things. He remembered the cassowary gal he’d briefly mentioned to his viewers earlier. Huge tits, dumptruck ass… what he was cut off before he could say was that he got her phone number. Perhaps he’d call her tomorrow morning and ask if she was down for some fun in his hotel room before he had to leave for the airport. It would do him some good to burn a bit of this fresh fat off.
 The next afternoon, around the same time Jace’s plane back to the States took off, the shitty pair of swim trunks was discovered washed up on Bondi Beach. Police were easily able to identify the emu they belonged to, seeing as his embarrassing death had gone viral on TikTok and IG Reels, and promptly returned them to his family. They weren’t much, and they weren’t pleasant, but they were something to bury.
