This short story sprang from a What if... scenario that got into my head. The story isn't long and chronologically it can be read almost anywhere in the series, but I chose to use it as a filler for my ongoing arc.
I have decided that I don't wish to use too much time on the group's travel westwards, so the next time, they have traveled much further from where we left them.
Anyway, I hope you will enjoy this scenario and leave me a comment to tell me what you think of it : )

Oh my! Xantos might have tasted Elyon's ire before, but if this were to happen for real, I can't imagine! xD
Great stuff, I love a good alternate-timeline/what-if type story, you can indulge in stuff that might impinge on the main plot without worry!

I went through this scenario many times to figure out how it should work. It is probably for the best for both of them that it ended up being just a dream.
Besides, I have never done a dream sequence before, but it proved great to make an alternative timeline as you say, and without diverge from the main story : )
You can try it yourself in one of your stories!

Nice to know how things would go if these characters from a fantasy world wind up in our world. I imagine there will be some point in the story where Elyon is given the option to go home, or even makes it home, but chooses to stay to help her friends - and Xantos.

I have been dying to write this scenario, there was so many possibilities and things to go wrong for all of them. And of course it had to involve somebody getting eaten.
You aren't far off in your guess, regarding Elyon's fate. But long before I get so far, I am going to complicate things for her in regard to said "choice" she will get.
