kinda late for this, aren't'cha? :P (unless you're in the southern hemisphere, i guess XD)
incidentally, winter "officially" arrived in my area just yesterday--in a mostly dry, warm climate, we finally got daytime rain :) (snow doesn't really show up around here, though i'd expect to see it on the mountains in the distance today)
