I'm back for my unofficial semi-annual blog post. If you have the time - this will be super quick - I've been curious about what the readers like you look for in the stories they read. Just going to ask some quick multiple choice questions below that revolve around the types of stories I write. Simply leave a number in the comments below based on the five questions. Your comment should look something like:
2,5,0,1,1
(meaning you picked option 2 for the first question, 5 for the second, 0 for the third, 1 for forth, 1 for the fifth)
And of course, if you'd like to leave actual written feedback, that works just as well if not better! Thanks!
Question 1) What length do you prefer the vore stories you read to be?
0) I'm indifferent/depends on the quality of the story
1) Less than 5,000 words
2) Between 5,000 and 10,000 words
3) Between 10,000 and 20,000 words
4) Between 20,000 and 30,000 words
5) Over 30,000 words
Question 2) If you HAD to pick, what is most important to you in a vore story?
0) Physical attributes and personality of the predator
1) Physical attributes and personality of the prey
2) The narrative being interesting
3) The vore scene(s) being that good shit
4) The dynamics between the characters and the tension/conflict between them
5) This question is far too nuanced! Silly iliketoread, you should know better! (All of the above?)
Question 3) What perspective do you prefer in a vore story?
0) I'm indifferent/depends on my mood
1) Third-Person
2) Second-Person
3) First-Person
4) I like a mix of perspectives
Question 4) Does the pred/prey's attractivness matter to you?
0) I'm indifferent/depends on my mood
1) I LITERALLY REFUSE TO READ A STORY WHERE THEY DO NOT TURN ME ON BY THEIR PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION ALONE
2) Yes, most of the time
3) No, but I prefer if the pred or prey is someone I find attractive
4) Bro, if there is a mouth and stomach invovled, I'm in. Don't care what the creatures involved look like.
Question 5) What would you like to see more of from my writing?
0) Just keep doin' what you're doin'
1) I would like you to mix up your preds dude
2) I would like to read more creative scenarios with unqiue reasons for vore to be happening
3) I would like to see more emphasis on the vore itself
4) I would like to see some happy endings from you, why must it always end in tragedy!
5) Other - I will leave a comment :)
6) Listen iliketoread - if that is your real name - if you don't write a damn MILF pred already I'm going to lose it. I want to see a loving mother eating her son's friends right in front of him! I want to see the look in his eyes when he sees what his mother is capable of! Or maybe even eating her son! I don't care, just do it already!
Q1: 0 - Self explanatory.
Q2: 4 - Nuanced relationships only lead to better payoff and can make the rest of the story more interesting. (3 is a close second).
Q3: 3 - Makes the story way more immersive, however it can hamper the story if the MC is overly irrational, deranged, and/or immoral. However, it doesn't work as well in long form stories or longer series of stories, for which I would chose 1, since the limited perspective can constrain the narrative as more characters are introduced.
Q4: 3 - They don't have to be lookers, but a physically attractive pred can only improve the story.
Q5: 0 - Part of me wants to say 3, but honestly trying to force yourself to change the way you write isn't worth messing up your flow, especially since your stories are always enjoyable to read for one reason or another.
0,5,0,3,
the last one is tricky ... mostly 0 (your storys are realy great), a bit from 2 and 3. A Happy Ending could be interesting too sometimes. And a damn Milf could be hot too :D
1. 3
2. 4, the actual vore is the payoff but if the lead up isn’t good, it’s not as rewarding.
3. 1, 1st person can work for specific stories, 2nd person is too easy to break the verisimilitude and pull me out of the narrative if the MC acts very counter to myself.
4. Middle between 3&4 it’s nice if their attractive but not needed. However a particularly ugly or disgusting character can put me off the story entirely
5. 0, Almost no misses in your body of work ( personally not a fan of human on animal stuff) so no real changes wanted really. Though option 6 definitely feels like someone wants permission to do the thing they already were going by to do anyway and honestly sounds hot as hell in any case.
5,4,4,2,5
Well, I would say reading story where the pred has certain struggles due to size of the prey or due to sheer number of prey eaten would be interesting.
Also scenarios where... middle age office lady end up eating a bunch of college girls half her age. Or where some teen schoolgirl ends up ending a bunch of young women in their twenties.
<.<
>.>
Or just gluttony in general with a lot of women getting eaten. u _u
Maybe also scenarios where the pred actually tries to get the eaten people out but runs into unexpected trouble. Like "This is awkward moment to discover I have no gag reflex" to "I am not saying this rescue plan is bad BUT... can you tie the 'rescuers' to something that doesn't snap or does easily untie? Like, that chain neklace was pretty good bet... But we went from one eaten chick to 6 AND that necklace being stuck in my stomach!" or even "*BELCH* Umph... you know, in hindsight... making me swallow more of them in effort to make me sick and vomit them out was pretty stupid idea."
As for personalities of predators. Maybe pred that is similar to Erika from Shrink High. As in, just dumb :u Maybe pred that just genuinely hates smol people and thinks swallowing them is easiest way on how to make them permanently dissapear. Surprisingly normal or level headed folk that end up eating shrunken people due to intoxication or hypnosis gone wrong.
